RHESUS FACTOR AND BLOOD GROUP Last time, we discussed how to classify blood groups into A, B, AB and O. But, there's still something that's missing; we all notice that this so-called alphabets used to represent blood groups either end with "+ve" or "-ve" denoting positive or negative. This is known as the "RHESUS FACTOR". A person's blood can either be Rhesus positive (Rh+) or Rhesus negative (Rh-) which is known as our Rhesus factor and this is found out by testing our blood samples against a serum known as "Anti-Rh serum". On contact, if they clump, the blood is Rhesus-positive (Rh+), if they don't clump, the blood is Rhesus-negative (Rh-). For instance, a person belongs to blood group A and his/her Rhesus factor is Rh+, this implies that if the person goes for a blood group test, it will appear as A+ve. Have a nice day!!!

So, how do we get to read blood groups? We shall be discussing that. The blood is claasified into four distinct groups: A, B, AB and O which is in relation to the antigens and antibodies found in the blood. Now, what do we understand by Antigens and Antibodies? Antibodies are found in the plasma while Antigens are found on the surface of the red blood cells. Antigens can either be A or B while antibodies can either be anti-a or anti-b. Introductory to Science.

I'm Uthman Balogun and I would like to catch your  attention for a few minutes. Science as a whole: When we really look at science from a critical perspective, we discover that science itself is everything but nothing. Science explains everything but yet, we realize everything was created from nothing. Numerous religions have claimed different gods as the creator and ruler of the universe. However, it's really not comprehensible how the whole universe could exist without a creator. How we go about it is what has caused diversities in religion.
